Event Particpation
Over 3500 students, teachers, parents, sponsors, and other supporters attend this two-day event.

 

Over 300 Auburn volunteer faculty, students, and staff as well as others from industry, education, and government across the state and region volunteer annually as event personnel and judges.

Arkansas Robotics Team Wins Fourth Consecutive Award At BEST Competition.
The Northeast Arkansas Town-Crier (11/20) reports, "Buffalo Island Central Robotics team joined 19 other teams from across Arkansas and Tennessee to compete at Arkansas State University in the BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology) robotics competition held on Oct. 31. BIC, for the fourth consecutive year, picked up the prestigious BEST Award," for "the best engineering notebook, research paper, marketing display, oral presentation" and sportsmanship, while also winning its second consecutive Founder's Award" for the "most creative and innovative" robot design. Further, the team "received first place in the areas of best CAD drawings and elegant design," while teachers Steve Brummett, and Debbie Olive "were named 'Robotics Teachers of the Year.'"
